Grand Avenue Temporary Re-Striping
As part of the Grand Avenue widening and resurfacing the road has been temporarily re-striped. The temporary striping creates a buffer zone for the safety of the workers and eliminates the need for flagmen to stop traffic, this is more convenient for motorists. Work is currently occurring on the south side of the street. ADA ramps are being upgraded as are curbs and gutters. The next segment will be a six foot should on the lake side of the street. Final striping, replacing the center turn lane, will be in place by the end of August 2015.
