Project Overview

• Demolished existing bridge and northbound Indio Boulevard overcrossing, replaced with new six-lane bridge with bicycle lanes on each side and sidewalk on northbound side of Jefferson Street

• Modified on and off-ramps:

  • Westbound I-10

    • Realigned, one-lane off-ramp

    • Indio Boulevard overcrossing on-ramp removed

    • Realigned, two-lane on-ramp from southbound Jefferson Street

    • New, two-lane loop on-ramp from northbound Jefferson Street

  • Eastbound I-10

    • Realigned, two lane off-ramp

    • Existing on-ramp from Jefferson Street overcrossing removed

    • New, two-lane loop on-ramp for northbound and southbound Jefferson Street

• Add traffic signals at EB and WB on and off-ramps
