MacKay Dr. Sidewalk

MacKay Dr. Sidewalk

Project Overview

The County of Riverside Transportation Department is proposing to construct approximately 750 feet of new sidewalk along the south side of MacKay Dr from Marian Ave to Union Ave. This improvement will extend the limit of the existing sidewalk and will provide additional pedestrian path of travel to the adjacent Lakeland Village Community Center’s ballpark.  MacKay Dr is a two-lane road with width varying from 28 feet to 36 feet, and is classified as Local Road in the County of Riverside’s General Plan. In addition to new sidewalk construction, the proposed improvements will also widen a portion of roadway, resurface the remaining portion of existing pavement and accommodate curbside parking along MacKay Dr.
