Resurfacing Projects

Ramona Avenue Resurfacing

The County of Riverside Transportation Department is proposing to resurface approximately 800 feet of Ramona Avenue from Nuevo Road to Stalder Avenue. Ramona Avenue is classified as a local road in the County of Riverside’s General Plan. Ramona Avenue is a two lane road and currently ranges from 23-25 feet wide. The proposed project will remove existing asphalt and place back with Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA).


Additional improvements include:

  • Construction of driveways

  • Reconstruction of asphalt concrete dike

  • Utility adjustments

  • Striping of roadway, including pavement markers and reflectors

  • Salvage/removal and installation of new signs

No additional right-of-way, permits to enter and construct (PEC), or temporary construction easements (TCE) will be required to construct the proposed improvements.
