Public Hearing for Gilman Springs Shoulder and Median Widening Project Draft IS/MND
Description
This public hearing will provide an overview of the Gilman Springs Shoulder and Median Widening Project Draft IS/MND. This hearing will also provide an opportunity for project stakeholders and members of the public to provide comments on the Draft IS/MND. Public comments provided during the hearing will be documented and addressed in the Final IS/MND. The public hearing was held on March 31, 2022.
Limits: 1.7 miles south of Alessandro Blvd to 1 mile south of Bridge St

The proposed improvements include pavement widening to accommodate 4’ painted median with centerline rumble stripes, 6’ paved shoulders, providing approximately 1 mile of Northbound passing lane, extending existing culverts, and regrading shoulders and slope edges.

Estimated Project Cost: $18 million
The Draft Initial Study with Proposed Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) for the Gilman Springs Shoulder and Median Widening Project will be available March 11 through April 12, 2022. The document will be available for review at the following locations:
