Resurfacing Projects

Clifton Street Resurfacing

The County of Riverside Transportation Department is proposing to resurface approximately 600 feet of Clifton Street from Langlois Road to 600 feet west of Langlois Road. Clifton Street is classified as a Local Street in the County of Riverside’s General Plan. Clifton Street currently ranges from 38-42 feet wide with curb/gutter along the south half of the roadway. The proposed project will include removing the roadway and placing back Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA).

The proposed project will also include:

  • Placement of safety edge and shoulder backing

  • Utility adjustments

  • Salvage/removal and installation of new signs

No additional right-of-way will be required to construct the proposed improvements. The project improvements will remain within the existing footprint of the roadway.

PROJECT SCHEDULE 

Environmental Clearance: November 2019
Final Design: October 2019
Construction Start: May 2020
Construction Completion: June 2020
