Project Overview
In June 2024, the County of Riverside Transportation Department will begin a roadway resurfacing project on Mockingbird Canyon Road in the Lake Matthews/Woodcrest neighborhoods of Riverside County.
The project will repair and resurface approximately 4 miles of roadway on Mockingbird Canyon Road from El Sobrante to Van Buren Boulevard. Work will include removing and replacing existing asphalt, adjusting utilities, intersection improvements, storm drain improvements, restriping, and placing signage.
TRAFFIC IMPACTS
Mockingbird Canyon Road will be reduced to one lane in construction areas with flaggers assisting vehicles through the closure. The speed limit will be reduced in the construction area.
