Skyview Road Pedestrian Bridge - Weekly Status

We are starting the construction of Skyview Road Pedestrian Bridge over French Valley Channel in the Community of French Valley. The bridge will cross a gap along Skyview Road where there is no existing road crossing at French Valley Channel. The bridge will provide a path between the French Valley Library, located on the northwest side of the bridge, and the Susan LaVorgna Elementary School, located at the southeast corner of the intersection of Skyview Road and Via Santiago/Algarve Avenue. It will provide multipurpose access for both pedestrians and bicyclists, with no vehicular travel other than access for emergency vehicles.

Estimate completion: Summer 2026

No traffic impact. We will monitor and minimize construction noise to adjacent neighborhood. Thank you for your understanding.

We are continuing with the repair of asphalt pavement damages due to soil erosion on Ramon Road both sides of Railroad Overcrossing between Varner Road and Bob Hope Drive.
