Skyview Road Pedestrian Bridge - Weekly Status

We are continuing with the construction of Skyview Road Pedestrian Bridge over French Valley Channel in the Community of French Valley. The bridge will cross a gap along Skyview Road where there is no existing road crossing at French Valley Channel. The bridge will provide a path between the French Valley Library, located on the northwest side of the bridge, and the Susan LaVorgna Elementary School, located at the southeast corner of the intersection of Skyview Road and Via Santiago/Algarve Avenue. It will provide multipurpose access for both pedestrians and bicyclists, with no vehicular travel other than access for emergency vehicles.

The contractor currently working on drainage systems and preparing to start the bridge construction.



Estimate completion: Summer 2026

No traffic impact. We will monitor and minimize construction noise to adjacent neighborhood. Thank you for your understanding.

Grand Avenue Sidewalk - Weekly Status

We are continuing the construction of sidewalk on Grand Avenue from Adelfa Street to Blackwell Boulevard and along the north side of Grand Avenue between Brechtel Street and Corydon Road. It is anticipated to complete in June 2025. Crews are working on concrete curb & gutter, sidewalk and preparing for the roadway reconstruction. Please observe construction warning signs and use caution while traveling through. Thank you for your patience and understanding.



Note: The roadway is narrowed and shifted during working hours. Please use caution and share the road.

De Portola Road Drainage - Weekly Status

We continue with the construction of the De Portola Road Drainage Improvements project between Shiraz Way and approximately 650 feet northerly in the Temecula Valley Wine Country area within the Community of Rancho California of Riverside County. This project is funded by Gas Tax, American Rescue Plan Act, and Riverside County Flood Control. Anticipated completion in July 2025. Please observe construction warning signs and use caution while travelling through. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Pauba Road and De Luz Road - Weekly Status

Pauba Road Reconstruction: Crews are continuing the road improvements on Pauba Rd between Via Del Monte and Calle Contento. Crews are constructing various retaining walls along Pauba Road. Pauba Road will be reduced to one lane with flagging operations during working hours.

De Luz Road Culverts’ Replacement: No work scheduled.

De Luz Road Culverts - Weekly Status

Crews are continuing the drainage improvements on De Luz Rd. The contractor is performing potholing operations to locate underground utilities. De Luz Rd will be reduced to one lane with flagging operations during working hours at multiple locations.

"A" Street and Nuevo Road Resurfacing - Weekly Status

We completed paving on A Street from Nuevo Road to Harvill Avenue and Nuevo Road from A Street to 1472 Feet South of "A" Street in the Community of Mead Valley of Riverside County. Contractor scheduled tentatively to begin install striping and signages on May 5th, 2025. Crews will be cleaning up along "A" Street and Nuevo Road in upcoming week.

Skyview Road Pedestrian Bridge Construction Update

Community of French Valley

Construction is ongoing for the Skyview Road Pedestrian Bridge over the French Valley Channel. This bridge will span the existing gap along Skyview Road where there is currently no crossing, connecting the French Valley Library on the northwest side to Susan LaVorgna Elementary School at the southeast corner of Skyview Road and Via Santiago/Algarve Avenue. The bridge will provide a multipurpose path for pedestrians and bicyclists, with vehicular access limited to emergency vehicles only.

At this time, the contractor is working on drainage system installation and preparing the site for bridge construction.

Estimated Completion: Summer 2026

Traffic Impact: None.

Additional Notes: Construction noise will be monitored and minimized to reduce impacts on the surrounding neighborhood.

Good Hope Area and Theda Street - Weekly Status

We are constructing sidewalks and repairing roads at Steele Peak Drive, Palm Street, Mountain Avenue, and Theda Street in Good Hope Community area. Carver Track Phase 2 Construction Notice - April 28 - May 2, 2025

Crews are continuing the road improvements on Pauba Rd between Via Del Monte and Calle Contento. Throughout the week of 04/21/2025, crews will be performing excavations for proposed retaining wall areas.  Pauba Rd will be reduced to one lane with flagging operations during working hours.
