Work continues on the Skyview Road Pedestrian Bridge over the French Valley Channel in the Community of French Valley. This new bridge will span the existing gap along Skyview Road, creating a safe and convenient connection between the French Valley Library on the northwest side and Susan LaVorgna Elementary School at the southeast corner of Skyview Road and Via Santiago/Algarve Avenue.
The bridge is designed to support pedestrians and bicyclists, with access limited to emergency vehicles onlyβno regular vehicular traffic.
π§οΈ Due to recent rains and unsuitable ground conditions, no construction activities were scheduled, and crews are currently focused on cleaning the project site.
π The project remains on schedule, with tentative completion planned for Summer 2026.

The contractor is continuing work to replace multiple culverts along De Luz Rd. Crews will also be placing concrete pavement at the lowβwater crossings as part of the ongoing improvements.
