Aurora Road Resurfacing

The County of Riverside Transportation Department is proposing to resurface approximately 3,200 feet of Aurora Road from Langlois Road to 3,200 feet west of Langlois Road. Aurora Road is classified as a Local Street in the County of Riverside’s General Plan. Aurora Road currently ranges from 28-40 feet wide with curb/gutter along the north half of the roadway. The proposed project will include removing the roadway and placing back Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA).
The proposed project will also include:
Minor roadway widening
Installation of new curb/gutter
Placement of safety edge and shoulder backing
Utility Adjustments
Salvage/removal and installation of new signs
Installation of new pavement markers
No additional right-of-way will be required to construct the proposed improvements. The project improvements will remain within the existing footprint of the roadway.

Final Design: October 2019
Construction Start: May 2020
Construction Completion: June 2020
