The County of Riverside Transportation Department proposes to rehabilitate the following roads in the Nuevo Area. The roads are all classified as being Local Roads in the County of Riverside General Plan. The roads range from 28-44 feet wide with curb/gutter and sidewalk. The proposed improvements consist of removing the existing roadway, cement treating the base, and overlaying Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA).
Porter Street from Menifee Road to Approximately 1,000 feet West of Penasco Circle
Mirileste Drive from Menifee Road to Approximately 200 feet West of Pasito Street
Via Santana from 150 ft Notth of Mirileste Drive to Approximately 200 feet South of Pablo Street
Penasco Circle from Porter Street to Approximately 800 feet South of Mecheka Drive
Macheka Drive from Mirileste Drive to Penasco Circle
Pasito Street from Mirileste Drive to Approximately 500 feet East of Mirileste Drive
Pablo Street from Via Santana to Approximately 200 feet east of Via Santana
Additional improvements include:
Reconstruction of concrete sidewalk, curb/gutter, driveway approach, cross gutter, and spandrel
Placement of safety edge and shoulder backing
Utility adjustments
Striping of roadway, including pavement markers and reflectors
No additional right-of-way or temporary construction easements will be required to construct the proposed improvement. The project improvements will not raise the existing roadway profiles.
