Robert Road Resurfacing

The County of Riverside Transportation Department proposes to resurface approximately 1300 feet of Robert Road from Ramon Road to La Canada Way.  Robert Road is classified as a Local Road in the County of Riverside General Plan. Robert Road is a two lane road that is 40 feet wide with curb/gutter and sidewalk on each side of the roadway. The proposed improvements include removing the existing roadway and placing back Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA).

Additional improvements include:

• Reconstruction of concrete curb ramp, damaged curb/gutter, and damaged sidewalk
• Installation of bollards
• Slurry seal
• Utility adjustments
• Detector loops
• Striping of roadway, including pavement markers and reflectors
• Salvage/removal and installation of new signs

No additional right-of-way or temporary construction easements will be required to construct the proposed improvements. The project improvements will raise the existing roadway profile by 0.10 feet.

Environmental Clearance: October 2017
Final Design: September 2017
Construction Start: March 2018
Construction Completion: May 2018
