We completed the replacement of the existing pavement on Girard Street from Ramona Bowl Entrance to Florida Avenue in the East Hemet area. The contractor is currently working on the shoulder, an asphalt Dike, tie-in asphalt driveways, and pavement delineations. Please continue to use caution while traveling through the area. The contractor is continuing with the removal & replacement of the existing concrete cross-gutter, spandrels, curb ramps, and asphalt pavement on Girard Street improvements from Stetson Avenue towards Florida Avenue in the East Hemet area. There will be road closures to through traffic due to wide cross-gutter replacement work and pavement reconstruction. Please use caution, observe construction warning signs, follow detour signs, and expect delays while travelling through the area. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

The construction of Valle Vista Library Parking Lot completed on Wednesday, 2/23/23. Acacia Avenue Drainage east of Grant Avenue in the Valle Vista Community is progressing slower due to rain events. This week weather permitting, the contractor is scheduled to start the removal & replacement of existing concrete cross-gutter, spandrels, curb ramps, and some driveways on Girard Street improvements from Stetson Avenue to Whittier Avenue in the East Hemet area.
