Crews are making steady progress on road improvements in our community!


🛠️ Pauba Rd (between Via Del Monte & Calle Contento): From August 18th, expect work on: • Drainage systems • Waterline connections • Pavement removal • Roadway grading


⚠️ Pauba Rd will be reduced to one lane with flagging operations during working hours.


🛠️ De Luz Rd Culvert Replacement (between Via Raquel & Carancho Rd): Crews are replacing multiple culverts. Expect single-lane closures with flagging operations during working hours.

🚧 Pauba Road and De Luz Road - Weekly Status 🚧

🔨 Pauba Rd Improvements (Aug 4–week of): Crews are continuing road enhancements between Via Del Monte and Calle Contento. This week’s focus includes:

Drainage system upgrades
Waterline connections
Asphalt pavement removal
Roadway grading

👷 Expect one-lane traffic with flagging operations at multiple spots during work hours. Please drive safely and follow all construction signage and staff directions.

🛠️ De Luz Rd Culvert Replacement: Work is temporarily paused. Crews are scheduled to resume the week of August 11th. Until then, use caution when crossing steel-plated sections and watch for signage.

🔸Crews are making important upgrades on Pauba Rd (between Via Del Monte & Calle Contento) this week. Expect single-lane closures and flagging operations while teams work on drainage systems, waterlines, and pavement removal.

🔧 De Luz Rd Update: Culvert replacement work is on a short break, with crews scheduled to return in August. Until then, watch for steel-plated crossings and stay safe.

Pauba Road and De Luz Road - Weekly Status

Crews are continuing the road improvements on Pauba Rd between Via Del Monte and Calle Contento. Throughout the week of July 21st, crews will be performing work on drainage systems and the final proposed retaining wall. Pauba Rd will be reduced to one lane with flagging operations during working hours. Please note that Pauba Rd will be fully closed on Thursday July 24th between Via Del Monte and 300ft east of Via Del Monte between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM due to tree removal activities that will prevent access for local traffic and will fully reopen after that time. Thank you for your patience and understanding.


De Luz Road Culvert Replacement: Crews are continuing to replace culverts at several locations along De Luz Rd. Roads will be reduced to one lane with flagging operations during working hours between King Circle and Buena Loma Rd. Please observe construction warning signs, use caution, and follow traffic control staff’s directions. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

As of Friday July 11th, at 6:00 PM, Pauba Rd is fully open to traffic. Starting this week of July 14th, the contractor will continue to work on drainage systems and the final retaining wall on Pauba Rd. Please use caution, observe construction warning signs, and follow traffic staff’s directions. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

De Luz Road Culvert Replacement: The contractor will resume work replacing multiple culverts on De Luz Rd starting July 14th. Roads will be reduced to one lane with flagging operations during working hours between Via Raquel and Camaron Rd. Please observe construction warning signs, use caution, and follow traffic control staff’s directions. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Pauba Rd between Via Del Monte and Mesa Verde Circle is expected to re-open to traffic beginning Friday July 11th at 6:00 PM. Until that time, traffic detour route will follow Rancho California Rd. Please DO NOT ENTER “ROAD CLOSED” areas. Please use caution, observe construction warning signs and detour signs, and follow traffic staff’s directions. Thank you for your patience and understanding.


De Luz Road Culvert Replacement: The contractor is temporarily suspending work on De Luz Rd. Crews are estimated to return to De Luz Rd within the next week. Please observe all construction warning signs and use caution when driving over steel-plated crossings.
