Polk Street Resurfacing
Limits: 58th Avenue to Airport Boulevard
Length: Approximately 1 mile
The County of Riverside Transportation Department proposes to rehabilitate approximately 1 mile of Polk Street from 58th Avenue to Airport Boulevard. Additional improvements include:
- Construction of concrete curb/gutter, sidewalk, driveway approach, and curb ramp
- Placement of safety edge and shoulder backing
- Utility adjustments
- Detector loops
- Striping of roadway, including pavement markers and reflectors
- Salvage/removal and installation of new signs
No additional right-of-way or temporary construction easements will be required to construct the proposed improvements. The project improvements will raise the existing roadway profile by 0.17 feet.
