To minimize traffic impacts during regular weekday commute hours, our contractor is scheduled to work on Cajalco Road from Wood Road to Gustin Road in the Mead Valley & Lake Matthews area this Saturday, May 21, 2022. Working hours are from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Crack sealing operations shall be controlled by flaggers. Please use caution and observe construction warning signs while travelling through this area. Brown Street will be closed south of Cajalco Road to Souder Street on Thursday, May 28, 7AM to 5PM. Please follow the detour on Souder Street to Alexander Street or use Elmwood Street to Clark Street. Please drive slowly and with caution through the neighborhood.
The closure is necessary to complete cross gutter work in the intersection of Brown Street & Cajalco Road.

Intermittent Side Street Closures
As crews are working on the Cajalco Road project during the next few weeks, motorists should expect intermittent closures on side streets between Alexander & Day streets. Please see flyers below for more information.

Weather permitting, construction will begin on the Cajalco Road Safety & Rehabilitation project between Alexander and Day streets in the Community of Mead Valley, near the city of Perris. Daily work hours are from 7 A.M. to 7 P.M, and single lane closures are expected. Motorists who use Cajalco Rad to commute are encouraged to use an alternate route.
