McKinley Street Reconstruction Project

RJ Noble Co. and EBS continued to remove and replace the existing concrete cross-gutters, spandrels, and wheel chair access on McKinley Street ramps this last week.  The contractor will begin with the removal of asphalt starting at the end of this week, see the attached photos.

McKinley Street Reconstruction Project

The McKinley Street Reconstruction project began October 9th and is anticipated to be completed in November 2018.  The contractor R.J. Noble Company, has closed one lane in each direction, leaving one lane remaining open in each direction.  The speed limit has been reduced to 30mph.  The contractor has begun to remove and replace the existing concrete wheel chair ramp, spandrels, cross-gutters and damaged sidewalk sections.

Scott Road Interchange Groundbreaking Ceremony

A large gathering celebrated the start of construction at the Scott Road/Interstate 215 Interchange groundbreaking ceremony today in Menifee. The $57.8 million project will improve I-215 freeway access and traffic flow on Scott Road, an important east/west connector in Southwest Riverside County. Clinton Keith Extension Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Phases 2 and 4 was a success!

On July 27, 2018, the ribbon cutting ceremony was held for the opening of Phases 2 and 4 of the new Clinton Keith Road extension project. The County of Riverside in cooperation with the City of Murrieta worked to complete this 6 lane roadway that extended Clinton Keith from Whitewood Road to Trois Valley Road.  This connection provides a link between Interstate 215 and State Route 79 (Winchester Road).
