Pauba Road Reconstruction: Crews are continuing the road improvements on Pauba Rd between Via Del Monte and Calle Contento. Crews are constructing various retaining walls along Pauba Road. Pauba Road will be reduced to one lane with flagging operations during working hours.

We completed paving on A Street from Nuevo Road to Harvill Avenue and Nuevo Road from A Street to 1472 Feet South of "A" Street in the Community of Mead Valley of Riverside County. Contractor scheduled tentatively to begin install striping and signages on May 5th, 2025. Crews will be cleaning up along "A" Street and Nuevo Road in upcoming week.

Skyview Road Pedestrian Bridge Construction Update
Community of French Valley
Construction is ongoing for the Skyview Road Pedestrian Bridge over the French Valley Channel. This bridge will span the existing gap along Skyview Road where there is currently no crossing, connecting the French Valley Library on the northwest side to Susan LaVorgna Elementary School at the southeast corner of Skyview Road and Via Santiago/Algarve Avenue. The bridge will provide a multipurpose path for pedestrians and bicyclists, with vehicular access limited to emergency vehicles only.
At this time, the contractor is working on drainage system installation and preparing the site for bridge construction.
Estimated Completion: Summer 2026
Traffic Impact: None.
Additional Notes: Construction noise will be monitored and minimized to reduce impacts on the surrounding neighborhood.

Construction Notice – A Street and Nuevo Road Improvements
Construction is underway on the reconstruction of approximately 0.8 miles of asphalt pavement along A Street (from Nuevo Road to Harvill Avenue) and Nuevo Road (from A Street to 1,472 feet south of A Street) in the Mead Valley area of Riverside County. Work is expected to be completed by June 2025.
The contractor has removed the existing asphalt pavement on both A Street and Nuevo Road and is scheduled to complete paving next week, in coordination with local schools’ Spring Break.
Please observe all posted construction signs, watch for equipment and crews, and use extra caution while traveling through the area.
Important Note: The roadway is narrow, with loose gravel and shifting conditions during work hours. Drive carefully and be prepared to share the road.
