Resurfacing Projects

Fisher Street Resurfacing

The County of Riverside Transportation Department is proposing to resurface approximately 1 mile of Fisher Street from Marshall Street to Cox Street. Fisher Street is classified as a Local Road in the County of Riverside’s General Plan. Fisher Street is a two lane road and is 22-26 feet wide. The project proposes widening the road by 2-6 feet, resulting in a total road width of 27-28 feet. The proposed project will include removing the existing roadway followed by placing back with Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA).

Additional improvements include:

·         Reconstruction of concrete driveways

·         Removing and replacing mailboxes

·         Constructing AC driveways

·         Drainage improvements, including reconstruction of dike, construction of new dike, and grading dirt swales

·         Utility adjustments

·         Striping of roadway, including pavement markers and reflectors

·         Salvage/removal and installation of new signs

No additional right-of-way, permits to enter and construct (PEC), or temporary construction easements (TCE) will be required to construct the proposed improvements.
