As construction begins on the Avenue 66 Grade Separation project in Mecca, Lincoln Street will be closed from Avenue 66 to Avenue 67. For the safety of motorists and construction crews, this road will be closed permanently from Wednesday, May 20, 2020 through Spring 2021. Brown Street will be closed south of Cajalco Road to Souder Street on Thursday, May 28, 7AM to 5PM. Please follow the detour on Souder Street to Alexander Street or use Elmwood Street to Clark Street. Please drive slowly and with caution through the neighborhood.
The closure is necessary to complete cross gutter work in the intersection of Brown Street & Cajalco Road.
