Clinton Keith Phase 3 Construction Notice and Video Update May 23-27

We are currently replacing wiring for new proposed Video Detection system to all Traffic Signals on Leon Road from Jean Nicholas/Baxter to Max Gilliss Blvd. in the French Valley area. The contractor is also scheduled to complete Pavement Delineations on Leon Road and Max Gilliss Blvd. next week. Lane closure and brief power outage for traffic signal system are expected during working hours. Please continue use caution while travelling through this area. For new proposed Clinton Keith Road from Leon Road to Winchester Road/Benton Road: The contractor is continuing with the construction of proposed Bridge over French Valley Creek.

Cajalco Road - Saturday Work

To minimize traffic impacts during regular weekday commute hours, our contractor is scheduled to work on Cajalco Road from Wood Road to Gustin Road in the Mead Valley & Lake Matthews area this Saturday, May 21, 2022. Working hours are from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Crack sealing operations shall be controlled by flaggers. Please use caution and observe construction warning signs while travelling through this area. Washinton Street at Saddleback Road Traffic Signal - Weekly Status

The contractor and technical support staff are turning on the new proposed Traffic Signal on Washington Street at Saddleback Road today (May 17, 2022) in the Woodcrest area. The contractor is continuing to do some minor work and clean up. Please use caution while travelling through due to changes at this new signalized intersection. Thank you for your patience.

Carver Tract Sidewalk project

We completed the proposed sidewalk, surface drainage structures, roadside signs, and fences & gates adjustment in the Carver Tract area. Contractor is waiting for material to construct a underground storm water detention basin on Luzon Street. Tentative schedule for this work is in July 2022.

Clinton Keith Phase 3 Construction Notice and Video Update

We are replacing electrical wiring for a new traffic signal video detection system on Leon Road from Jean Nicholas Road to Briggs Rd./Max Gilliss Blvd. During construction, the signal system will be off and the intersection will be an “ALL WAY” STOP. Please use caution and expect delays while approaching the intersection under construction.

Schedule is as follows:

Thursday 5/12 – Leon at Jean Nicholas (completed)

Friday 5/13 – Leon at Lantana

Monday, 5/16 – Leon at Penny Cress

Tuesday, 5/17 – Leon at Briggs/Max Gilliss

 

For newly proposed Clinton Keith Road from Leon Road to Winchester Road/Benton Road: The contractor is currently working on the construction of a Bridge and associated facilities in the middle of the project limits.

Slurry Seal FY 21-22 Dist. 1 - Saturday Work Update

To minimize the traffic impact during regular weekday travelling hours, the contractor is scheduled to crack sealing asphalt pavement on Washington Street from Van Buren Blvd. to Overlook Parkway in the Woodcrest area this Saturday, May 14. Traffic shall be reduced to ONE Lane/One direction and moved with the crack sealing operation, please observe warning signs and flagger’s instructions. Thank you for your understanding.

Carver Tract Sidewalk, Weekly Update - May 9, 2022

We completed all concrete curb & gutter and sidewalk in the Carver Tract area. The contractor is working on adjusting affected fences, gates, and other facilities. We are experiencing a delay with material for underground storm drain detention system. The contractor will clean and secure the project site prior to stop the construction. Slurry Seal FY21-22 District 3, Weekly Update

We are continuing the application of slurry seal to Hemet, San Jacinto, and French Valley areas. Please follow traffic control signs and lane closures on Domenigoni Parkkway and Murrieta Hot Springs Road. Please expect delays and “DO NOT” drive over wet slurry material. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Clinton Keith Phase 3 Weekly Update- May 2-6

The resurfacing on Leon Road from Jean Nicholas Road to Briggs Road and a major portion of Max Gilliss Boulevard from Leon Road to Winchester Road has been completed. The contractor applied a first coat of traffic stripe paint and is scheduled to apply a second coat of traffic stripe paint & pavement markings in the next two weeks. Please continue use caution while travelling through this area. New proposed Clinton Keith Road connecting Leon Road to Winchester Road (at Benton Road) is progressing well and still on schedule.

Cabazon Sidewalk Weekly Status Update

We are making good progress for the construction of proposed sidewalk on Carmen Avenue and Broadway Street in the Cabazon area. The contractor is working on the roadway improvements and clean up. Please continue use caution while travelling through this area.

Slurry Seal FY21-22 District 3, Weekly Status Update

We are actively working in the Hemet areas. This includes applying chip seal and slurry seal. Please do not park on your street on posted date and do not drive after the installation of new fresh slurry until we open the road. Clinton Keith Construction Notice April 25th-29th

We completed 95% the replacement of existing asphalt pavement on Leon Road and Max Gilliss Blvd. in the Winchester/French Valley area. The contractor is schedule to apply paint Traffic Stripe on Tuesday. April 26, 2022. Please use caution while driving on Leon Road and Max Gilliss Boulevard due to pending traffic stripe work. The new proposed Clinton Keith Road connecting from Leon Road to Winchester Road is also progressing well with the construction of retaining walls and a bridge while mitigating some environmental concerns.

Washington Street at Saddleback Road is still under construction for new proposed Traffic Signal. We experienced a little delay due to boulders/large rocks at new signal pole foundations. As always, please use caution while travelling through. There will be flaggers to control traffic as required. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
