We completed all slurry seal application to proposed streets in District 3 including Temecula, French Valley, Winchester, Hemet, Romoland, and Homeland areas. The contractor is scheduled to install traffic stripe and pavement markings as soon as possible. The contractor is still working on concrete curb ramps replacement at various areas in District 3. Please use caution while travelling through construction zone.
We are currently replacing wiring for new proposed Video Detection system to all Traffic Signals on Leon Road from Jean Nicholas/Baxter to Max Gilliss Blvd. in the French Valley area. The contractor is also scheduled to complete Pavement Delineations on Leon Road and Max Gilliss Blvd. next week. For new proposed Clinton Keith Road from Leon Road to Winchester Road/Benton Road: The contractor is continuing with the construction of proposed Bridge over French Valley Creek.

The contractor and technical support staff are turning on the new proposed Traffic Signal on Washington Street at Saddleback Road today (May 17, 2022) in the Woodcrest area. We completed the proposed sidewalk, surface drainage structures, roadside signs, and fences & gates adjustment in the Carver Tract area. Contractor is waiting for material to construct a underground storm water detention basin on Luzon Street. Tentative schedule for this work is in July 2022.
We are replacing electrical wiring for a new traffic signal video detection system on Leon Road from Jean Nicholas Road to Briggs Rd./Max Gilliss Blvd. During construction, the signal system will be off and the intersection will be an “ALL WAY” STOP. Please use caution and expect delays while approaching the intersection under construction.

For newly proposed Clinton Keith Road from Leon Road to Winchester Road/Benton Road: The contractor is currently working on the construction of a Bridge and associated facilities in the middle of the project limits.
To minimize the traffic impact during regular weekday travelling hours, the contractor is scheduled to crack sealing asphalt pavement on Washington Street from Van Buren Blvd. to Overlook Parkway in the Woodcrest area this Saturday, May 14. Traffic shall be reduced to ONE Lane/One direction and moved with the crack sealing operation, please observe warning signs and flagger’s instructions. Thank you for your understanding.
We completed all concrete curb & gutter and sidewalk in the Carver Tract area. The contractor is working on adjusting affected fences, gates, and other facilities. We are experiencing a delay with material for underground storm drain detention system. The contractor will clean and secure the project site prior to stop the construction. The resurfacing on Leon Road from Jean Nicholas Road to Briggs Road and a major portion of Max Gilliss Boulevard from Leon Road to Winchester Road has been completed. The contractor applied a first coat of traffic stripe paint and is scheduled to apply a second coat of traffic stripe paint & pavement markings in the next two weeks. Please continue use caution while travelling through this area. New proposed Clinton Keith Road connecting Leon Road to Winchester Road (at Benton Road) is progressing well and still on schedule.

We completed 95% the replacement of existing asphalt pavement on Leon Road and Max Gilliss Blvd. in the Winchester/French Valley area. The contractor is schedule to apply paint Traffic Stripe on Tuesday. April 26, 2022. Please use caution while driving on Leon Road and Max Gilliss Boulevard due to pending traffic stripe work. The new proposed Clinton Keith Road connecting from Leon Road to Winchester Road is also progressing well with the construction of retaining walls and a bridge while mitigating some environmental concerns.
