9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Watch for crews on Hamner Avenue from Detroit to Citrus streets restriping pavement in the area.
Add extra time for travel.
REDUCE SPEED to 35 mph in the project area and watch for crews working on the shoulder at Detroit Street, Citrus Street and across the bridge.
PEDESTRIAN ACCESS is available on the western side of Hamner Avenue from Schleisman Road to the southern crosswalk at Citrus Street.
NO PEDESTRIAN ACCESS ACROSS THE BRIDGE in this phase of the project.

Slurry Seal & Curb Ramps FY 23-24 Dist. 1 & 2 SCHEDULE and MAP
The contractor is scheduled to apply slurry seal coat to various streets in the Temescal Valley and El Cerritos areas (see attached schedule). We are continuing crack sealing in the Alessandro and Lake Elsinore areas. Please use caution while travelling through the work areas.
Please do not drive over wet slurry seal material. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
The proposed traffic signal on Ramona Expressway at Bridge Street is suspended. We are waiting for SCE to inspect and to install service meters for the new proposed traffic signal & lighting system. We are anticipating it to be quick. Please observe construction warning signs. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
Resurfacing Project 2023
Construction continues: Week of October 23
Hours: 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. Daily
Expect lane closures with traffic control in the Idyllwild community. Crews continue work to complete asphalt curb installation, backfilling, lane striping, sign installation, and landscaping work at several locations throughout
the project area.

We completed the reconstruction of concrete and asphalt pavement on Sycamore Canyon Road from Central Avenue to Fair Isle Drive. The contractor is scheduled to paint traffic stripe and install traffic detection loops. Please observe construction warning signs and follow traffic control personnel’s directions. Recommend to use alternate routes if possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Working Hours: 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM (Sunday to Friday)
Project Duration: 2 October to 27 October

The Fern Valley Road and Humber Park FULL CLOSURE has been lifted as of Saturday, Oct. 14 10 a.m.
The contractor will continue to perform other construction activities throughout the project area.

The proposed Clinton Keith Road from Leon Road to Winchester Road is progressing as planned. The contractor is continuing with shoulder, drainage systems, concrete (curb, median, driveways, and sidewalk), bridge lighting, and traffic signal systems. Murrieta Marketplace’s contractor is scheduled to be finished with the installation of sewer and water lines along the new proposed Clinton Keith Road, and on Benton Road on October 27, 2023. Please observe construction warning signs and use caution while using Benton Road. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Mission Creek Road and Worsley Road are under reconstruction due to storm damage. The contractor is installing new culverts and tentative completion date is 10/20/23.
These roads are closed
The proposed traffic signal on Ramona Expressway at Bridge Street is continuing as planned. The contractor completed most concrete work and all pavement reconstruction at this intersection.
