Lake Pointe Drive - Weekly Status
We started the reconstruction of Lake Pointe Drive from Indiana Avenue to Southern Sun Summit Drive in the Community of Lake Hills. The project is scheduled to complete in July 2024. Please drive slow and observe construction warning signs while travelling through the work zone.
We completed the reconstruction of Long Canyon Road from Quail Trail towards Dillon Road in the Community of Southeast Desert Hot Springs. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
We are continuing with the pavement rehabilitation project to Johnston Avenue from San Jacinto Street to Stanford Street in the East Hemet area. Contractor is working on various improvements along the road and preparing for the installation of traffic stripe and pavement markings. The contractor has started the construction of new proposed sidewalk on MacKay Dr from Marian Avenue to Union Avenue in the Community of Lakeland Village. The project duration is approximately one month. Please use caution while travelling through.

Clinton Keith Road - Weekly Status
The contractor is continuing with the construction to complete contract work and improvements including drainage systems. Next week, the contractor is scheduled to paint final traffic stripe on the new Clinton Keith Road from Trois Street to Winchester Road. This work is also tentatively scheduled at night hours to accommodate daytime traffic. Please continue to use caution and observe construction warning signs. FRIDAY, MARCH 29 at 4:00PM to MONDAY, APRIL 1 at 6:00AM
Long Canyon Road will be closed from Dillon Rd to Quail Rd in the Community of Southeast Desert Hot Springs. Crews will continue removing existing asphalt pavement and replacing with new asphalt towards Dillon Road. Please observe construction warning signs and use caution while traveling through the work zone.

We replaced close to a half mile of asphalt pavement with one layer of new asphalt on Long Canyon Road from Quail Trail towards Dillon Road in the Community of Southeast Desert Hot Springs. Next week, the contractor will continue removing existing asphalt pavement and replacing with new asphalt for about 3/4 mile. Please observe construction warning signs and use caution while travelling through the work zone.
