A Street and Nuevo Road Resurfacing - Weekly Status



We started the reconstruction of an approximate 0.8-mile segment of existing asphalt concrete (AC) pavement of A Street from Nuevo Road to Harvill Avenue and Nuevo Road, from A Street to 1472 Feet South of A Street in the Community of Mead Valley of Riverside County. Anticipated to complete in June 2025. Crews are working on concrete cross gutter and sidewalk. Please observe construction warning signs and use caution while travelling through. Thank you for your patience and understanding.



Note: The roadway is narrow and shifted during working hours. Please use caution and share the road.

De Luz Rd Culvert Replacement - Weekly Status

Drainage improvements on De Luz Rd have begun construction. Throughout the week of 04/07/2025, crews will be performing excavations and culvert replacements at the intersection of De Luz Rd and Rancho California Rd. Both De Luz Rd and Rancho California will be reduced to one lane with flagging operations during working hours.

Pauba Rd Widening - Weekly Status

Road improvements on Pauba Rd between Via Del Monte and Calle Contento have begun construction. Throughout the week of 04/07/2025, crews will be performing excavations for proposed retaining wall areas. Pauba Rd will be reduced to one lane with flagging operations during working hours.

Nuevo Area Resurfacing Group, Weekly Update

Road improvements in the Nuevo Community are close to completion. Throughout the week of 04/01/2025, the contractor will be performing minor asphalt concrete work within the following project limits:

-12th St from Reservoir Ave to Y Ave

-13th St at Reservoir Ave

-Stalder Ave from Ramona Ave to Lakeview Ave

Gilman Springs Road Completed

The County of Riverside Transportation Department completed the Gilman Springs Road Shoulder Widening and Median Project the week of March 24, 2025.

The project started in September 2024 and included the following work on approximately four miles of Gilman Springs Road:

• Constructed a new raised concrete median with reflective delineation and centerline rumble strips between Alessandro Blvd and approximately 1 mile south of Bridge Street

• Created 6-foot-wide paved shoulders so motorists can safely pull off the road

• Constructed an underground wildlife crossing at Bridge Street with wildlife fencing on Gilman Springs Road to deter animals from crossing on the roadway

• Constructed an approximately 1-mile-long northbound passing lane

• Completed drainage improvements and grading on shoulders and slope edges

Carver Tract Phase 2 Sidewalk - Weekly Status - Construction Notice

We are continue working on roadway widening, new proposed sidewalk, and drainage system improvements on various streets in the Carver Tract Community. Crews are working on concrete curb & gutter and sidewalk to various streets in the community. Please observe construction warning signs and use caution while travelling through. Skyview Bridge Pedestrian Bridge - Weekly Status

We are continuing with the construction of Skyview Road Pedestrian Bridge over French Valley Channel in the Community of French Valley. The bridge will cross a gap along Skyview Road where there is no existing road crossing at French Valley Channel. The bridge will provide a path between the French Valley Library, located on the northwest side of the bridge, and the Susan LaVorgna Elementary School, located at the southeast corner of the intersection of Skyview Road and Via Santiago/Algarve Avenue. It will provide multipurpose access for both pedestrians and bicyclists, with no vehicular travel other than access for emergency vehicles. Crews are currently working on drainage systems and setting up field offices.



Estimate completion: Summer 2026

No traffic impact. Will monitor and minimize construction noise to adjacent neighborhood. Thank you for your understanding.

Road improvements in the Nuevo Community are close to completion. Throughout the week of 03/24/2025, crews will continue cleaning up the roadway shoulders and areas behind the new asphalt concrete dike within the project limits below:

-12th St from Reservoir Ave to North Dr

-Apricot Ave from Lakeview Ave to North Dr

-13th St from Reservoir Ave to North Dr

-Stalder Ave from Ramona Ave to Lakeview Ave

-North Dr from Nuevo Rd to Lakeview Ave

We are constructing sidewalks and repairing roads at Steele Peak Drive, Palm Street, Mountain Avenue, and Theda Street in Good Hope Community area.
