Mayberry Avenue Sidewalk - Weekly Newsletter

We recently started the construction of new proposed sidewalk along Mayberry Avenue from Pear Tree Lane to Casino Road in the Valle Vista area. The project is anticipated to complete early August 2022. Please use caution while travelling through the work zone and expect a little delays.

Slurry Seal FY 21-22 Dist. 1 - Weekly Newsletter

We are currently applying slurry seal to various streets in the Perris areas. Please DO NOT drive over wet slurry seal material and observe construction warning signs. Thank you for your understanding.

Contractor is installing CAT track (layout) for Traffic Stripe on Grand Ave. in Lake Elsinore/Lakeland Village today. County Traffic staff is reviewing and should approve the CAT track by tomorrow. The contractor is scheduled to apply first coat of traffic paint this Saturday 7/2. Final coat shall be scheduled.

Clinton Keith Video Construction Update July 5th-8th

We are currently working with the contractor to properly close Briggs Road from Leon Road to Los Alamos Road for the construction of new proposed Clinton Keith Road. A portion of the roadway on Los Alamos Road and Briggs Road is now a dirt road. Please use caution while travelling through. Contractor is actively progressing with the construction of a bridge, retaining walls, and earth work for new proposed Clinton Keith Road from Leon Road to Winchester Road in the French Valley area.

Dexter Ave. & El Toro Rd. Sidewalk Weekly Update - 07/05/22

This week the County is removing existing asphalt pavement and ground for the new proposed sidewalk along El Toro Road in front of Temescal Canyon High School.. Please use caution while traveling through the work zone.

Thousand Palms Canyon Road Resurfacing - Weekly Newsletter

7/5/22 Weekly Update

We are continuing the pulverizing of existing asphalt pavement and paving new asphalt to Thousand Palms Canyon Road from Ramon Road/Washington Street to Dillon Road in the Desert Hot Springs area. Please observe construction warning signs and follow flagger’s (traffic control person) instructions while travelling through this area. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

6/29/22 Weekly Update

We are currently paving new asphalt and pulverizing existing asphalt pavement on Thousand Palms Canyon Road. These operations are about a mile apart with multiple Traffic Control crews. Please use caution and expect delays while using Thousand Palms Canyon Road.

Briggs Rd Closure / Clinton Keith Road Phase 3 and Leon Rd & Max Gilliss Blvd Resurfacing - Weekly Newsletter

Starting June 28, 2022, the contractor is scheduled to “Permanently Closed” Briggs Road from Leon Road to Los Alamos for the construction of new Clinton Keith Road. Los Alamos Road from Menifee Road to Briggs Road is access for local traffic/residents and emergency vehicles ONLY. We are also working on new alignment for Briggs Road from Los Alamos Road to Porth Road and Winchester Road. Please follow detour signage and thank you for your understanding.

Dexter Ave. & El Toro Rd. Sidewalk - Weekly Status

We are starting the construction of new proposed sidewalk along El Toro Road and Dexter Avenue towards City of Lake Elsinore limits. The contractor completed the curb ramps replacement front of Temescal Canyon High School. The contractor is currently removing existing asphalt pavement and ground along the west side of Dexter Avenue from El Toro Road to Costco shopping center. Please use caution while travelling on Dexter Avenue because of “Open Trench” along the shoulder.

San Jacinto Ave. Resurfacing - Weekly Status

We are starting the reconstruction of San Jacinto Ave from Florida Avenue to Thornton Avenue in Hemet area. The contractor is currently removing and replacing concrete Curb Ramps, Spandrels, Cross-Gutters, and Curb & Gutter along San Jacinto Avenue. Please use caution and observe construction warning signs while travelling through this area. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Slurry Seal FY21-22 District 1, Weekly Update

We are currently applying slurry seal to various streets in the Woodcrest and La Sierra areas. Please observe “No Parking” signs posted with the date of operation. Also, please do not drive over wet slurry and wait for the contractor to open the street as soon as the new slurry seal material dried for traffic.

Clinton Keith Road Construction Notice for week of May 31-June 3

The contractor is scheduled to install all Thermoplastic Pavement Markings on Leon Road from Jean Nicholas Road to Max Gilliss Blvd. and on Max Gilliss Blvd. There will be lane closures, please use caution while travelling through this area. For Clinton Keith Road: The contractor is continuing the construction of a new proposed bridge crossing French Valley Creek.duled to install all Thermoplastic Pavement Markings on Leon Road from Jean Nicholas Road to Max Gilliss Blvd. and on Max Gilliss Blvd. There will be lane closures, please use caution while travelling through this area. For Clinton Keith Road: The contractor is continuing the construction of a new proposed bridge crossing French Valley Creek.

Slurry Seal FY 21-22 Dist. 1 - Weekly Newsletter

We are currently applying new asphalt surface treatment (slurry seal) in the Woodcrest area of County of Riverside. Please observe “NO PARKING” signs posted with the date of slurry seal operation. Washington Street at Saddleback Road Traffic Signal Update

The new proposed traffic signal system on Washington Street at Saddleback Road is fully functional as of May 19, 2022. The contractor is continuing with minor repair, other improvements, and clean up the project site. Please use caution while travelling on Washington Street at Saddleback Road due to new traffic patterns associated with new improvements.

Slurry Seal Dist. 3 - Weekly Newsletter

We completed all slurry seal application to proposed streets in District 3 including Temecula, French Valley, Winchester, Hemet, Romoland, and Homeland areas. The contractor is scheduled to install traffic stripe and pavement markings as soon as possible. The contractor is still working on concrete curb ramps replacement at various areas in District 3. Please use caution while travelling through construction zone.
