NB and SB Hamner Ave. from Detroit Street to Citrus Street.
Crews will pave on the north and south side of the project. Expect delays and traffic flagging.
NEW TRAFFIC PATTERN COMING SOON
Once paving operations are complete on the north and south side bridge approaches and the road widening sections, crews will continue to work on the final touches of the western bridge span. The western bridge span will open to motorists and traffic will switch tentatively in mid-December. Check the project website and social media for details. The existing Hamner Avenue Bridge will be retired, and crews will begin the construction of the eastern bridge span. The project is tentatively scheduled to be complete by the summer of 2024.

We completed all concrete and asphalt pavement work on Ramon Road from Varner Road to Monterey Road in the Thousand Palms area. The contractor is working on the installation of traffic stripes, pavement markings, and other minor work. Please continue use caution while travelling through. Thank you for your cooperation.

The contractor is continuing the installation of steel reinforcement for the proposed bridge over French Valley Creek and importing soil for Clinton Keith Road from Leon Road to Winchester Road. In addition, the contractor has also begun the improvements along Winchester Road at Benton Road. Note: Briggs Road from Leon Road to Los Alamos Road is permanently CLOSED.
We completed sidewalk construction and drainage improvements in the Carver Tract area. The contractor is installing pavement markings, doing minor work and clean up, then moving out soon. Please continue to use caution while travelling through the work zone.
We completed the reconstruction of Rainbow Canyon Road in the Temecula area. The contractor is cleaning and preparing to move out. Thank you for your patience and cooperation during construction.
