We are continuing with the construction of Skyview Road Pedestrian Bridge over French Valley Channel in the Community of French Valley. The bridge will cross a gap along Skyview Road where there is no existing road crossing at French Valley Channel. The bridge will provide a path between the French Valley Library, located on the northwest side of the bridge, and the Susan LaVorgna Elementary School, located at the southeast corner of the intersection of Skyview Road and Via Santiago/Algarve Avenue. It will provide multipurpose access for both pedestrians and bicyclists, with no vehicular travel other than access for emergency vehicles. Crews are currently working on drainage systems and setting up field offices.
Estimate completion: Summer 2026
No traffic impact. Will monitor and minimize construction noise to adjacent neighborhood. Thank you for your understanding.
Road improvements in the Nuevo Community are close to completion. Throughout the week of 03/24/2025, crews will continue cleaning up the roadway shoulders and areas behind the new asphalt concrete dike within the project limits below:

-Stalder Ave from Ramona Ave to Lakeview Ave
