🚧 Skyview Road Pedestrian Bridge - Construction Update 🚶‍♀️🚴‍♂️

We’re making great progress on the Skyview Road Pedestrian Bridge over French Valley Channel in the heart of the French Valley community! 🌉


This new bridge will span a current gap along Skyview Road, creating a safe, multipurpose path connecting French Valley Library on the northwest side to Susan LaVorgna Elementary School on the southeast corner of Skyview Road & Via Santiago/Algarve Ave. Designed for pedestrians and bicyclists only, it will also allow access for emergency vehicles—no regular car traffic.


👷‍♂️ Crews are currently working on the falsework (temporary structure used during bridge construction).


📅 Estimated completion: Summer 2026


🚫 No traffic impacts are expected, and we’re actively monitoring construction noise to minimize disruption to nearby residents.

🔸Crews are making important upgrades on Pauba Rd (between Via Del Monte & Calle Contento) this week. Expect single-lane closures and flagging operations while teams work on drainage systems, waterlines, and pavement removal.


🔸Please drive cautiously, follow posted signs, and listen to traffic control staff 👷‍♂️🚦 Thanks for your patience as we improve our roads!


🔧 De Luz Rd Update: Culvert replacement work is on a short break, with crews scheduled to return in August. Until then, watch for steel-plated crossings and stay safe.

Clark St Resurfacing and Sidewalk - Weekly Status

🚧 Road Work Alert – Mead Valley Community 🚧

Heads up, Mead Valley! Road improvement projects continue on Clark St between Martin St and Nandina Ave. 👷‍♂️ Expect single-lane closures with flagging operations during working hours 7:00 AM–6:00 PM.

⚒️ Crews will be pulverizing asphalt pavement and performing roadway grading, so small segments may be intermittently closed to allow construction — but residents will still have access.

Please drive safely: ➡️ Follow posted detour signs ➡️ Obey traffic control staff ➡️ Use extra caution in the area

De Portola Road Drainage - Weekly Status

🚧 De Portola Road Drainage Improvements – Temecula Valley Wine Country
Construction continues on the De Portola Road Drainage Improvements project between Shiraz Way and about 650 feet north in the Temecula Valley Wine Country area of Rancho California. Crews are currently working on the drainage structure and additional improvements.

Please watch for construction signs, follow directions from traffic control staff, and use caution while traveling through the area. Thank you for your patience as we enhance your community’s infrastructure!

Good Hope Area and Theda Street - Weekly Status

We completed the roadway construction on Steel Peak Drive and Palm Street. The contractor is scheduled to continue to remove and replace asphalt pavement on Theda Street in the Community of Good Hope. Please follow construction warning signs and use caution while travelling through. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Clark St Resurfacing and Sidewalk - Weekly Status

Crews are continuing to perform road improvements on Clark St from Martin St to Nandina Ave in the Mead Valley Community. Clark St will be reduced to one lane with flagging operations during working hours between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM in order to continue removal of existing asphalt concrete pavement.  Please observe construction detour and warning signs, use caution, and follow traffic control staff’s directions. Please note that small segments of Clark St may be intermittently closed and detoured during working hours to allow for the roadway grading operations while still allowing access for residents.  Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Pauba Road and De Luz Road - Weekly Status

Crews are continuing the road improvements on Pauba Rd between Via Del Monte and Calle Contento. Throughout the week of July 21st, crews will be performing work on drainage systems and the final proposed retaining wall. Pauba Rd will be reduced to one lane with flagging operations during working hours. Please note that Pauba Rd will be fully closed on Thursday July 24th between Via Del Monte and 300ft east of Via Del Monte between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM due to tree removal activities that will prevent access for local traffic and will fully reopen after that time. De Luz Road Culvert Replacement: Crews are continuing to replace culverts at several locations along De Luz Rd. Roads will be reduced to one lane with flagging operations during working hours between King Circle and Buena Loma Rd. Please observe construction warning signs, use caution, and follow traffic control staff’s directions. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Thornton Ave Resurfacing - Weekly Update

We are continuing the reconstruction of Thornton Avenue from Cornell Street to Soboba Street in the community of East Hemet of Riverside County. We completed all concrete improvements and side streets (tie-in) to new cross-gutter. Currently, contractor is reconstruction Thornton Avenue from Cornell Street to Soboba Street. The road surface is uneven/dirt. Please observe construction warning signs, use caution, and follow traffic control staff’s directions. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Jurupa Grade Separation - CONSTRUCTION ALERT – July 21, 2025

CONSTRUCTION ALERT – Starting July 21, 2025
Two driveway closures are planned at the Stater Bros. shopping plaza as part of ongoing construction.

Here’s what to expect:

🔸Monday, July 21 – Friday, July 25
The southern driveway on Felspar Street will be closed for reconstruction to meet the new roadway grade.

🔸Starting Monday, July 28
The center driveway on Jurupa Road will also close for reconstruction.

 

✅ Access to the shopping plaza will remain open through alternate driveways on Jurupa Road and Felspar Street. Follow posted signs and detours.

Skyview Road Pedestrian Bridge - Weekly Status

We are continuing with the construction of Skyview Road Pedestrian Bridge over French Valley Channel in the Community of French Valley. The bridge will cross a gap along Skyview Road where there is no existing road crossing at French Valley Channel. The bridge will provide a path between the French Valley Library, located on the northwest side of the bridge, and the Susan LaVorgna Elementary School, located at the southeast corner of the intersection of Skyview Road and Via Santiago/Algarve Avenue. It will provide multipurpose access for both pedestrians and bicyclists, with no vehicular travel other than access for emergency vehicles.


The contractor continues working on the falsework (temporary supporting structure for bridge construction).


Estimate completion: Summer 2026


No traffic impact. Will monitor and minimize construction noise to adjacent neighborhood. Thank you for your understanding.

Clark St Resurfacing and Sidewalk - Weekly Status

Clark Street Road Improvements – Mead Valley Community

Crews are continuing road improvement work on Clark Street between Martin Street and Nandina Avenue in the Mead Valley Community. During working hours (7:00 AM to 6:00 PM), Clark Street will be reduced to one lane with flagging operations in place while the existing asphalt pavement is removed.

Please follow posted detour and warning signs, use caution when driving through the area, and follow directions from traffic control staff. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to improve your community’s roads.

As of Friday July 11th, at 6:00 PM, Pauba Rd is fully open to traffic. Starting this week of July 14th, the contractor will continue to work on drainage systems and the final retaining wall on Pauba Rd. Please use caution, observe construction warning signs, and follow traffic staff’s directions. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

De Luz Road Culvert Replacement: The contractor will resume work replacing multiple culverts on De Luz Rd starting July 14th. Roads will be reduced to one lane with flagging operations during working hours between Via Raquel and Camaron Rd. De Portola Road - Weekly Status

Construction Update: De Portola Road Drainage Improvements

Work continues on the De Portola Road Drainage Improvements project, located between Shiraz Way and approximately 650 feet north in the Temecula Valley Wine Country area of the Rancho California community in Riverside County.

Crews are currently constructing drainage structures in front of the wall and relocating a fire hydrant. Please watch for construction signs, follow directions from traffic control staff, and use extra caution when traveling through the area.

Good Hope Area and Theda Street - Weekly Status

Construction Update: Roadway Improvements in Good Hope
