We completed the removal & replacing of existing pavement with new asphalt on Lincoln Street from Indiana Avenue to Magnolia Avenue in the Home Gardens area. The contractor is working on traffic stripe, adjusting manholes to grades, and traffic signal detection system this week. Please use caution and observe warning signs while travelling through the work zone. Thank you for your understanding.

LINCOLN STREET UPDATE from Indiana Avenue to Magnolia Avenue in the Home Gardens area. Due to contractor’s conflicting work schedule, the contractor is scheduled to remove existing asphalt pavement and pave new asphalt starting Today December 12, 2022. The road surface around all new concrete cross gutters and curb ramps are rough/uneven. Please use caution and observe warning signs while travelling through the work zone.
The contractor is continuing the preparation for the placement of concrete to proposed bridge over French Valley Creek, importing soil for the proposed Clinton Keith Road from Leon Road to Winchester Road. In addition, Murrieta Marketplace’s contractor is continuing the installation of sewer line crossing under Winchester Road at Benton Road. Note: Briggs Road from Leon Road to Los Alamos Road is permanently CLOSED.

NEW TRAFFIC PATTERN COMING SOON
Crews are working toward opening the western span of the new bridge and shifting both north and southbound traffic onto it in mid-December. Multiple tasks must be completed with acceptable weather conditions to meet this schedule or the operation will be postponed until mid-January.
