The contractor is working on importing material for the roadway structure, construction of Arch Culverts, SR -79 (Winchester Road) widening, traffic signal systems, and French Valley Creek Bridge Note: Briggs Road from Leon Road to Los Alamos Road is permanently CLOSED.

Coronita area: Completed crack seal to existing asphalt pavement to various streets and begin slurry application.

The proposed Clinton Keith Road extension from Leon Road to Winchester Road is progressing as planned. The contractor is working on importing material for the roadway structure, building the concrete headwall of Arch Culverts, and concrete curb and sidewalk, traffic signal systems, and a new roadway structure including Winchester Road widening. Note: Briggs Road from Leon Road to Los Alamos Road is permanently CLOSED.
The contractor resumed the construction of the newly proposed drain and slope/gully on Grant Avenue in the Valle Vista Community. The project was on hold due to conflicts with actual field conditions. There is no major impact to traffic. Please be aware of trucks traffic on Grant Avenue south of Florida Avenue during normal working hours.
We completed the replacement of the existing pavement on Girard Street from Ramona Bowl Entrance to Florida Avenue in the East Hemet area. The contractor is currently working on the shoulder, an asphalt Dike, tie-in asphalt driveways, and pavement delineations. Please continue to use caution while traveling through the area. The contractor completed slurry seal application, including all pavement delineations, to Desert Hot Springs area, Airport Blvd. (Thermal area), and Cabazon area. The project is temporarily suspended until May 14, 2023 due to low temperature at night for Reche Vista Drive, Reche Canyon Road and Gilman Hot Springs Road. #RivCoTrans installed a 22-inch-wide by 8-inch-high concrete center median on 8.5 miles of #RamonaExpressway from approximately ¾-of-a-mile east of Rider Street on the west end, to Warren Road on the east end, to improve public safety.
