The contractor is continuing with weed abatement, crack sealing, and pavement preparation for the application of slurry seal to various streets from French Valley to Hemet in Supervisory District 3 of County of Riverside.

We are starting the resurfacing of Center Street and Stephens Avenue in the High Grove area this week and are scheduled to complete it at the end of July 2023. The contractor is working on concrete curb ramp replacement, constructing new proposed retaining wall, and locating underground utilities. Please use caution and observe construction warning signs while travelling through the work zone. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
The contractor resumed the construction of the new proposed drain and slope/gully on Grant Avenue in the Valle Vista Community. The project was on hold due to conflicts with field conditions. There is no major impact to traffic. Please be aware of truck traffic on Grant Avenue south of Florida Avenue during normal working hours.
We completed the construction of Girard Street from Ramona Bowl Entrance to Florida Avenue in the east Hemet area. Thank you for your patience.
Stetson Avenue Resurfacing - Weekly Status
We are nearly completed with the reconstruction of Stetson Avenue from Hemet Street to Santa Fe Street in East Hemet. The contractor is scheduled to perform shoulder work, complete traffic striping, add roadside signs, and other minor work. The proposed Clinton Keith Road from Leon Road to Winchester Road is continuing to progress as planned. The contractor is working on importing material for the roadway structure, construction of Arch Culverts, SR -79 (Winchester Road) widening, traffic signal systems, and French Valley Creek Bridge Note: Briggs Road from Leon Road to Los Alamos Road is permanently CLOSED.
Lake Elsinore area: Begin slurry seal application to neighborhood streets.
Coronita area: Completed crack seal to existing asphalt pavement to various streets and begin slurry application.
Home Gardens area: Crack sealing and repairing existing pavement.
Woodcrest area: Repair & prepare existing asphalt pavement for slurry seal application.
