Clinton Keith Road - Weekly Status / Video

The proposed Clinton Keith Road from Leon Road to Winchester Road is continuing to progress as planned. The contractor is continuing with various construction activities including underground utilities, finishing French Valley Creek Bridge, new sidewalk, and completed the new proposed Arch Culverts. Murrieta Marketplace contractors are also installing the water line along the new proposed Clinton Keith Road. Note: Briggs Road from Leon Road to Los Alamos Road is permanently CLOSED.

Center Street and Stephens Avenue Resurfacing - Weekly Status

We completed majority of the roadway improvements on Center Street and Stephens Avenue in the Highgrove area. The contractor is scheduled to perform minor repairs and correct discrepancies. The traffic signal at this intersection is functioning normal. We are waiting for electrical equipment to upgrade the current traffic signal system. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

GILMAN SPRINGS ALERT

SCE will be replacing several transmission poles along Gilman Springs Road that were damaged in the recent fire starting tomorrow, June 18, 2023. All work is anticipated to be completed by Friday evening, July 21st. Traffic delays are expected for both directions while traveling through the area so please plan accordingly. Please obey all traffic laws and watch for workers while traveling the roadway.

Slurry Seal FY 22-23 Dist. 3 - Weekly Status

The contractor completed the slurry seal operation in the Temecula, French Valley, and Homeland areas. The contractor is scheduled to apply slurry seal to various streets in Hemet/Vale Vista area on Tuesday, 7/18/23.

LANE CLOSURE Tuesday, July 11 | 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Northbound Hamner Avenue at Citrus Street right turn lane into SilverLakes will be closed.

Right turn available from the middle lane. 

Watch for crews working in the roadway and on the shoulder.

 

EXTENDED WORK HOURS Monday - Saturday | 5 a.m. - 10 p.m. 

Crews continue bridge foundation work including pile driving activities.

Expect construction pounding noises from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

 

PEDESTRIAN ACCESS located on the west side of Hamner Avenue from Schleisman Road to the southern crosswalk at Citrus Street. NO pedestrian access across the bridge, please use RTA route 3. 

 

TRAFFIC CHANGE through October 

Hamner Avenue at Citrus Street, crews are working on roadway widening activities. 

REDUCE SPEED and watch for crews working on the shoulder.

Viejo Drive Drainage and Gully Repair - Weekly Status

We are getting closer to completing the construction of new proposed drain and slope/gully on Grant Avenue in the Valle Vista Community. There is no major impact to traffic. Please continue to be aware of truck traffic on Grant Avenue south of Florida Avenue during normal working hours.

Construction Notice- Center St & Stephens Ave, July 8, 2023

Construction Notice for Center St & Stephens Ave Resurfacing project: Crews will be installing pavement markings and crosswalk striping on Saturday (7/8) morning between 1:00 AM – 6:00 AM. The public should be advised to be cautious driving through the project site, observing construction warning signs, and obeying traffic control personnel. They will be working in the entire project limits of Center St between Versailles Pl and the Center St bridge, and Stephens Ave between Center St and W. La Cadena Dr, see attached aerial image for reference.

Cajalco Road: Completed.

We completed the slurry seal application on Reche Canyon Road in the Moreno Valley & San Bernadino areas. The contractor is continuing crack sealing & applying new slurry seal on Reche Vista Road, then moving on to Gilman Spring Road in the San Jacinto area.

Working Hours: 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM nightly.

- CENTER ST - Center St will be closed to through traffic between 7AM Saturday 6/24 to 10PM Sunday 6/25, and will be open to residents throughout the duration of the closure. Follow designated DETOURS along Main St., Columbia, W. La Cadena Dr., and Iowa Ave. Expect Delays and use alternate routes.

- STEPHENS AVE - Partial one lane closure Monday 6/26. Lane closed with one-way flagger coordination. Expect delays and alternate routes encouraged.

Please watch for signs and plan detours and routes accordingly.

Contractor is scheduled to remove existing pavement and pave new asphalt on Center Street starting Saturday, June 24 and completing Stephens Avenue on Monday, June 26. Center Street will be closed to all through traffic. Residents’ access shall be accommodated. Please continue alternate routes, follow detours & construction warning signs, and obey traffic control personnel. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Weekly Update: Center St & Stephens Ave Resurfacing

Crews completed concrete replacement of curb & gutter, curb ramps, driveways, retaining wall, and traffic signal work on Center Street at Stephens Avenue in the High Grove area. The contractor is scheduled to remove existing pavement and pave new asphalt on Center Street starting Saturday, June 24 and completing on Stephens Avenue on Monday, June 26. Please continue to use caution, observe construction warning signs, and obey traffic control personnel while traveling through the work zone. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
