Traffic Impacts

Anticipate lane closures throughout the project area with minor traffic delays. The contractor is grading the roadway shoulders and completing project clean up.

The project will be completed on Friday, September 6, 2024.

Construction alert: Lane Closures are planned throughout the project area this week

Traffic Impacts

Rutile Street at Van Buren Boulevard

Daily | 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Westbound Rutile Street: The left turn pocket will be closed. Motorists may use the middle lane to turn left onto Van Buren Boulevard.

Eastbound Rutile Street: The lane next to the median will be closed and both lanes of traffic will shift to accommodate the closure.

Southbound Van Buren Boulevard at Jurupa Connector Road

Daily | 8:45 to 3 p.m.

Alternating southbound Van Buren Boulevard lanes will close, and one southbound lane of traffic will be open. Plan for delays in the area.

Jurupa Connector Road at Jurupa Road

Daily | 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Watch for construction and intermittent traffic control in the area.

BRIDGE OPENS | TRAFFIC PATTERN CHANGE

The northbound bridge span will open Saturday, Aug. 24 and traffic will shift onto both bridge spans. Traffic lanes on Hamner Ave. north and south of the bridge will be open in both directions.

Week of August 19 - 23 Dillon Rd, Bubbling Wells Resurfacing UPDATE

We completed 95% of pavement replacement and other improvements on Dillon Road from Bubbling Wells Road to Palm Drive in the Community of Southeast Desert Hot Springs area. Next week, crews are scheduled to adjust manholes, paint pavement delineations, minor traffic signal work, and shoulder backing. Please use caution, observe construction warning signs, and follow directions from traffic control personnel. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

***Scheduled to start Bubbling Wells Road on August 28, 2024.

We completed the reconstruction of concrete cross-gutter and curb & gutter on Dillon Road and Bubbling Wells Road in the Community of Southeast Desert Hot Springs area. Next week, crews are scheduled to remove & replace of existing asphalt pavement on Dillon Road (from Palm Drive to Mountain View Road). Please use caution, observe construction warning signs, and follow directions from traffic control personnel. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
