From July 7–11, 2025, crews will continue work on sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and irrigation along 66th Avenue and throughout the new park area.

✅ All roadway lanes remain open — but expect shoulder closures and construction activity.
✅ Work hours: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM.

Carver Tract Construction Notice, July 7-11, 2025

🚧 Heads up, Carver Tract residents! 🚧

Construction crews will be working on sidewalks, utilities, and fences along Luzon St, Lingayan Ave, Corregidor Ave, and Bataan St from July 7–11, 2025.

✅ Watch for No Parking signs and cones.

✅ Expect some noise & dust — water trucks will help keep it down.

✅ Work hours: 7 AM – 6 PM, Mon–Fri.

Thornton Avenue Resurfacing - Weekly Status

We are continuing the reconstruction of Thornton Avenue from Cornell Street to Soboba Street in the community of East Hemet of Riverside County. Currently, crews are reconstructing concrete cross-gutter, spandrel, and curb ramps. Please observe construction warning signs, use caution, and follow traffic control staff’s directions. De Portola Road Drainage - Weekly Status

We are continuing with the construction of the De Portola Road Drainage Improvements project between Shiraz Way and approximately 650 feet northerly in the Temecula Valley Wine Country area within the Community of Rancho California of Riverside County. Contractor is continuing working on new proposed decorative retaining wall.

Note: There are multiple construction projects on De Portola Road. Eastern Municipal Water District is working on De Portola Road near Butterfield Stage Road. Please observe construction warning signs, follow traffic control staff’s directions, and use caution while travelling through. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Pauba Road and De Luz Road - Weekly Status

Pauba Rd will continue to be closed until further notice between Via Del Monte and Mesa Verde Circle to allow crews to safely excavate the proposed retaining walls areas. Traffic detour route will follow Rancho California Rd. Please DO NOT ENTER “ROAD CLOSED” areas. Please use caution, observe construction warning signs and detour signs, and follow traffic staff’s directions. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

De Luz Road Culvert Replacement: The contractor is temporarily suspending work on De Luz Rd. Crews are estimated to return to De Luz Rd within the next two weeks. Please observe all construction warning signs and use caution when driving over steel-plated crossings.

Skyview Road Pedestrian Bridge Weekly Status

We are continuing with the construction of Skyview Road Pedestrian Bridge over French Valley Channel in the Community of French Valley. The bridge will cross a gap along Skyview Road where there is no existing road crossing at French Valley Channel. The bridge will provide a path between the French Valley Library, located on the northwest side of the bridge, and the Susan LaVorgna Elementary School, located at the southeast corner of the intersection of Skyview Road and Via Santiago/Algarve Avenue. It will provide multipurpose access for both pedestrians and bicyclists, with no vehicular travel other than access for emergency vehicles.

The contractor is working on the falsework (temporary supporting structure for bridge construction).

Estimate completion: Summer 2026

No traffic impact. Will monitor and minimize construction noise to adjacent neighborhood. Thank you for your understanding.

Crews are continuing to perform road improvements on Clark St from Martin St to Nandina Ave in the Mead Valley Community. The contractor will continue to close small segments of Clark St and detouring traffic between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM in order to construct sidewalk and drainage systems between Martin St and Oleander Ave. Please observe construction detour and warning signs, use caution, and follow traffic control staff’s directions. TRAFFIC IMPACTS:

• Monday, July 7 at 7 a.m. through Tuesday, July 8 at 5 p.m. – driveway closed for utility work

• Monday–Friday, July 14–18 – driveway closed for reconstruction and concrete curing

• Please use the northern entrance behind Stater Bros. to access the shopping plaza

✅ Businesses are open during construction! Access is available from both Felspar Street and Jurupa Road.

Single lane closures on northbound Van Buren Boulevard will continue over the next two weeks as crews deliver construction materials.

TRAFFIC IMPACTS:

• Monday through Friday

• 5 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Outside lane closed on northbound Van Buren from north of Limonite Avenue to just south of Jurupa Road

• Expect traffic delays and watch for large trucks entering and exiting the area

• No lane closures planned on Friday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day

The intersection of Jurupa Road and Felspar Street remains closed for long-term construction. Please follow posted detours to move through the area safely.

Businesses remain open during construction! Access to shopping plazas along Felspar Street is available from both Jurupa Road and Felspar Street. Please support local businesses throughout the project.
